The green terraces on the façade aren't just for looks. Plants reduce wall heating and the air temperature around the building, which in Dubai's climate translates into a lower air-conditioning bill.
The flip side is maintenance. Façade greenery needs watering, pruning and replacement, and those costs go into the service charge. It's worth asking for that figure separately and comparing it with an ordinary tower in the district.
